Are you having a puzzling time trying to get tech support from MailChimp? I am trying to get one simple question answered, but it has tied up several hours of work time for my client and myself.
The Problem
My client is using MailChimp to send the new content to a mailing list held in MailChimp which I connected to the RSS feed that is part of the WordPress core. Whenever a new post is added to the WordPress site, MailChimp is supposed to send it out to everyone who has signed up to receive them.
Early last year, that campaign was paused, unbeknownst to my client or myself. When I noticed the pause, I tried to contact MailChimp to find out precisely when it was paused and why. Now, we had a second problem because MailChimp makes it difficult to contact them.
The Steps we Took
There actually is a phone number on the MailChimp site, but it’s for Sales. I didn’t try it, but my client did and was blocked by a long string of AI questions.- There is a Contact Us link on the home page. If you are logged into MailChimp, it will redirect you to their AI side panel which is not very helpful.
- If you are logged in, there is a Live Expert Help
